Analysis of epidemic characteristics of vector-borne diseases in Changping district of Beijing from 2005 to 2022
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of vector-borne diseases in Changping district of Beijing from 2005 to 2022,and provide basis for formulating prevention and control of the vector-born diseases in local area.Methods The data of vector-borne diseases in Changping district from 2005 to 2022 were collected from the Infectious Disease Reporting Information Management System of Chinese Disease Control and Prevention Information System,and the epidemiological characteristics and composition of diseases were analyzed.Results From 2005 to 2022,a total of 206 cases suffered from 12 kinds of vector-borne diseases were reported in Changping district,with the average annual reported incidence rate of 0.83/100 000.The main types of diseases were brucellosis,malaria and epidemic hemorrhagic fever.The cases were mainly reported from March to July.There was 49.03%of the reported cases concentrated in Chengbei street,Huilongguan area,Dongxiaokou area and Beiqijia town.The reported cases were mainly distributed in the 40-year-old group,with a total of 97 cases,accounting for 47.09%.The occupations of reported cases were mainly retirees,housework and unemployed persons,with a total of 60 cases,accounting for 29.13%.Conclusions There are many kinds of vector-borne infectious diseases,which are mainly sporadic in Changping district.It is suggested that targeted prevention and control strategies should be developed for key populations and key areas to reduce the occurrence of vector-borne infectious diseases in the future.
