Determination of 25 elements in corn flour by kinetic energy discrimination-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
Objective To establish the kinetic energy discrimination-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)method to detect Ca,Mg,Na,K,Li,B,Al,Zn,Sr,Ba,Sn,Rb,V,Cr,Co,Ni,As,Se,Mo,Cd,Sb,Pb,Fe,Mn and Cu in the corn flour samples and carried out the evaluation. Methods After optimizing the parameters of the inductively coupled plasma source mass spectrometer under the kinetic energy discrimination(KED)mode, the internal standard mixed solution of Sc,In and Bi with the concentration of 10 μg/L,and the samples digested by microwave were selected for online real-time injection determination. Results The linear relationship of 25 elements was good within a certain concentration range. The correlation coefficient(R)was equal or more than 0.999 0,and the detection limit was 0.000 2-0.5 mg/kg.The adding standard recovery rate of samples was from 85.9%to 108.9%,and the relative standard deviation(RSD)was less than or equal to 7.67%.The measured values of 25 elements in the standard substances of the national first-class rice flour were equal to the quality control values. The content of Pb,Cr and As were over the limits in part of corn flour samples. Conclusions The ICP-MS method has the advantages of simple pretreatment, fast analysis, high accuracy, low detection limitation and good precision degree. It is suitable for simultaneous batch detecting the content of 25 elements in corn flour.
