Current situation of KAP of tuberculosis prevention and control and analysis of influencing factors in two universities students in Baiyin city
Objective To investigate the status of knowledge,attitude and practice(KAP)of tuberculosis(TB)prevention and control,influencing factors and the expect ways to acquire knowledge in the students of 2 universities in Baiyin city of Gansu province,so as to provide scientific basis for health promotion of TB and health education in the universities of Baiyin city.Methods From May to June,2022,the standard questionair of the TB-free campus construction when Chinese center for disease control and prevention carried out"Three Actions of Tuberculosis Prevention and Control in China"was used in an online questionair survey which was carried out in all students of class 2019 to 2021 from 2 universities in Baiyin city.The data was analyzed after deleting unqualified questionnaires.Results The total awareness rate of core information of students in both universities was 66.66％in Baiyin,2022.The awareness rate of 5 core information was 42.27％,86.30％,79.61％,64.04％and 61.08％,respectively.Single factor analysis showed there were statistical differences(P＜0.05)in the awareness rates of gender(x2=6.816)and the education levels of parents(x2=186.594).The ways for students to acquire knowledge were in order of radio and television,propaganda and short message service.The way of audiovisual material from radio/TV/film was at the first in the expect ways to acquire knowledge in students.The degree of the expect ways which the students will select in websites/WeChat/Weibo/APP,health lecture and doctors'propaganda to learn about TB prevention and control information in the future was increased.But the students who knew the knowledge of TB prevention and control by offline ways were less.The university students like the information more by audio-visual materials include video,animation,etc.,and followed by other materials with text and pictures.The form of popular science which the students liked was text and pictures,then was video.Conclusions The total awareness rate of core information on TB prevention and control is low,and doesn't reach the national target of 85％in the university students in Baiyin city.Aim at the low awareness rate of core information in the students,the propaganda ways should be adjusted to achieve the effect of twice the result with half the effort.
