Epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in Yining county,Xinjiang from 2013 to 2021
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of pulmonary tuberculosis in Yining county of Xinjiang from 2013 to 2021,and provide evidence for local tuberculosis prevention and control.Methods The data of tuberculosis surveillance in 20 townships(towns,districts)of Yining county during 2013-2021 were derived from China Tuberculosis Information Management System,and the time distribution,regional distribution and population distribution were analyzed by descriptive epidemiological method.Results From 2013 to 2021,a total of 4 792 cases with pulmonary tuberculosis were reported in Yining county,with average annual incidence of 127.3/100 000.The incidence was obviously seasonal.The highest incidence was 15.2/100 000 in January and the lowest was 7.9/100 000 in October.The high annual incidence rate was 172.4/100 000 in Awulia town,155.8/100 000 in Dunmazha town,153.9/100 000 in Bayituohai town and 153.7/100 000 in Wenyar town.The reported incidence of the male was higher than that of the female(x2=377.670,P<0.001),and the age of reported cases was mainly concentrated in 25-35 years old,with 1 379 cases,accounting for 28.78%.Conclusions The males,young and middle-aged people should be focused on for tuberculosis prevention and control in Yining county,especially in Awulia town,Dunmazha town and Bayituohai town where the incidence are high.The support of policy tilt and the fund for prevention and contorl and the resources of medicine should be supplied,so as to blocking-up the transmission of pumonary tuberculosis,and decrease the incidence.
