Analysis of monitoring results of human brucellosis in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps from 2021 to 2022
Objective To understand the incidence characteristics of human brucellosis in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps(XPCC)from 2021 to 2022,and provide evidence for formulating brucellosis prevention and control measures. Methods The data of brucellosis epidemic and serological surveillance in high-risk groups in XPCC from 2021 to 2022 were collected and analyzed with descriptive epidemiological method. Results There were 1 224 cases cumulatively reported in XPCC from 2021 to 2022,and the reported incidence rate of 19.14/100 000 in 2022 increased 11.60%than the reported incidence rate of 17.15/100 000 in 2021.The peak of incidence was in May.Totally 521 cases were reported from May to July, accounting for 42.57%(521/1 224).The sex ratio of the male to the female was 2.48:1.The cases mainly concentrated in 40-59 years old,and accounted for 61.36%(751/1 224).Main cases were farmers, workers and herdsmen, accounting for 79.09%(968/1 224).Out of 10 447 persons of the key occupational population were detected with serological test,278 cases were positive with positive rate of 2.66%.The positive rate of 3.23%in 2022 was higher than the positive rate of 2.11%in 2021,with statistical difference(x2=12.637,P<0.05).Conclusions The prevention and control situation of brucellosis is serious in XPCC.It is necessary to prevent and control the infection source, strengthen health education and behavioral intervention in the population with high-risk occupation include slaughter, grazing and feeding,so as to reduce the infection rate.
