Monitoring and analysis of effect of disinfection in medical institutions in Lanzhou city from 2017 to 2022
Objective To understand the disinfection effect in the medical institutions in Lanzhou city of Gansu province,and provide basis for prevention and control of hospital infections.Methods The effect of disinfection of the air of operating room,endoscopes,medical staff hands,objects surface in key departments,medical water,hospital sewage etc.were monitored in the medical institutions at different levels in Lanzhou city,and the monitoring results were analyzed.Results From 2017 to 2022,a total of 4 475 samples were monitored,and 3 685 samples were qualified disinfection,with the qualified rate of 82.35％,and showed overall increasing trend(trend x2=218.111,P＜0.001).The qualified rate of hospital wastewater was the lowest(61.40％),and the qualified rates of hydrogen peroxide and low-temperature plasma sterilizers were the highest(100.00％).There was statistical difference among the qualified rates of disinfection of different monitoring items(x2=180.418,P＜0.001).Conclusions The qualified rates of disinfection in medical institutions are generally increasing in Lanzhou city,but the differences of are bigger in the qualified rates of disinfection of different monitoring items are bigger in recent years.The medical institutions and health administrative departments should carry out targeted measures for improving the effect of disinfection in all medical institutions.
