Study on Safety Protection Structures for High Slopes in Reservoir Construction
The downstream right bank of the Altash Water Conservancy Project dam features a high slope exceeding a hundred meters in height. In order to address the stability of the outlet of the No.1 deep-hole flood discharge sand flushing tunnel and the eco-power plant's rear slope, this paper introduces the concept of a flexible steel-structure shed tunnel for the first time.By constructing a steel-structure shed tunnel at the 3-1 road platform in the middle of the high slope,a structural design combining a steel truss and flexible protective netting is implemented, ensuring the safety of the downward traffic passage in the water conservancy project's high slope. The design and implementation of the flexible steel-structure shed tunnel have been validated for its protective effectiveness, ensuring the safety of the outlet of the deep-hole flood discharge sand flushing tunnel and the eco-power station while improving the safety of traffic operations on the dam.The research findings in this paper offer a new approach to slope protection for water conservancy hub projects and provide theoretical basis and practical experience for similar future applications.
