Design and Application of the Top Plate Support System for the Third-Stage Ship Lift Tower at Goupitan
The third-stage vertical ship lift at Goupitan Hydropower Station is the largest hoisting vertical submersible ship lift in terms of scale both domestically and internationally. The tower's top plate features significant construction characteristics, including a large construction height, wide span, complex structural configuration, and high safety risks. The support structure system employed is crucial for ensuring the high-quality and safe construction of the tower's top plate. This paper provides an introduction to the design and application of the top plate support system for the third-stage ship lift tower at Goupitan Hydropower Station, serving as a reference for similar construction projects.
