Design Analysis of Seepage Control Measures for Safety Enhancement of Phosphate Mine Reservoir Dam
In the design of safety enhancement for reservoirs, selecting the appropriate seepage control measures is crucial in addressing leakage issues.Taking a phosphate mine reservoir as an example, this paper identifies the location and causes of dam seepage through the analysis of geological survey data.It examines the types, structures, and permeability of dam body and foundation rock(soil)layers, and compares various factors including engineering investment, construction conditions, and availability of construction materials. After considering curtain grouting, clay blanket, and geomembrane options, the curtain grouting scheme is ultimately chosen as the seepage control measure for the dam.The paper outlines the process of selecting the seepage control measures for the phosphate mine reservoir dam, providing valuable reference and guidance for similar engineering designs.
