Cause Analysis and Fault Handling of Minor Gas Alarm in Oil-immersed Transformer at Taipu River Pumping Station
To summarize the experience of safety management and explore a safety management model suitable for hydropower facilities, this paper takes the example of the minor gas alarm fault of the oil-immersed transformer in the Taipu River pumping station project, explains the working principle, analyzes the possible causes of the fault, proposes timely disposal measures, and finally successfully eliminates the fault. After troubleshooting, the"six mechanisms"theory of water safety production risk control was applied to develop warning and preventive measures to prevent similar accidents from happening again and causing significant risks. The results indicate that the use of the"six mechanisms"of search, analysis, warning, prevention, disposal, and responsibility in the risk control process of hydropower facilities is an effective safety management model that is worth promoting and applying.
