Experimental Study on Improving the Temperature of Aluminum Electrolysis Waste Gas
The process of electrolytic production of aluminum consumes a large amount of energy.During the process, most of the heat is carried by waste gas.The gas has a large displacement and low waste heat quality. In this article, the influence of flue gas temperature rise in electrolytic aluminum reduction cells on the electrolysis process was studied through numerical calculations. Then, the factors affecting the temperature of the aluminum electrolysis waste gas were analyzed. As a result, insulation was applied to the anode guide rod and side walls of the electrolytic aluminum reduction cell, and the waste gas temperature of the experimental electrolytic aluminum reduction cell was raised to 180 ℃.Through this approach, the quality of waste heat has been improved, providing a basic guarantee for the efficient recovery and utilization of waste heat in the future.
