With the hope of peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality, 300 MW subcritical steam turbine faces the pressure of upgrading for energy-saving and consumption reducing. This paper proposes three through-flow upgrade schemes for the steam turbine, including scheme of main and reheat steam parameter unchanged、 scheme of main and reheat steam temperature rising to supercritical temperature and scheme of main and reheat steam temperature rising to ultra-supercritical temperature. The benefits of three schemes are compared in this paper. It provides a reference for the transformation of the same type of steam turbine.
