Some middle-exhaust heat-supply steam turbine units have the problem of the vibration of the cross-over pipe, which brings great hidden dangers to the safe operation of the units. In this paper, an example of the vibration problem of the cross-over pipe of a steam turbine in a power plant is analyzed. The reasons are analyzed through tests and numerical simulation, and the improvement measures are put forward. It has been verified that the problem of cross-over pipe vibration can be effectively solved.
