Based on the existing dual-band matching theory,an RF power amplifier which can operate at three bands of 1.5/2.4/5.8 GHz was designed. In order to meet the practical application requirements of Counter-UAV(unmanned aerial vehicle),firstly two frequency bands of 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz were matched, and then 1.5 GHz was matched, and the corresponding tri-band input-output matching network was designed. Finally, the overall circuit of the tri-band power amplifier was designed.ADS simulation results show that when the input power is 28 dBm,the output power of the RF power amplifier designed in the three frequency bands are 39.88 dBm,40.94 dBm and 39.25 dBm respectively, and the efficiency reaches 46.52%,60.54% and 39.40% respectively. The power amplifier can be used in Counter-UAV equipment based on signal suppression or signal spoofing to improve amplifier efficiency and equipment integration.
