Study on Local Corrosion Thinning Detection of Ground Down Conductor based on SH Wave
As the connection hub of electrical equipment and grounding network, the grounding lead is located in an environment that makes it prone to corrosion locally or even fracture, endangering the safety of staff and electrical equipment. Compared with the traditional detection method of the lead-down line, ultrasonic guided wave detection technology has a wider detection range, higher detection accuracy, no limitation of use, and more time-saving and labor-saving. The detection of ultrasonic guided waves under different degrees of local corrosion of the ground lead was analyzed, and the finite element modeling and simulation research was carried out in COMSOL Multiphysics. The results show that SH waves have good propagation ability in flat steel and can be used for corrosion defect detection of ground lead downline; And the more serious the degree of local fineness of corrosion, the bigger the amplitude of the defect echo signal, and the higher the peak of the signal, which is more conducive to the identification of defects.
