Optimized Design of Thermal Bimetals for Applications of Small Circuit Breaker
Circuit breakers,as switch instruments, are widely used in low-voltage distribution transmission lines or electrical equipment. The thermal characteristics of tripping are important indicators of small circuit breakers. Most small circuit breakers use bimetallic components to thermally cut off the circuit breaker, which act as a driving mechanism to open the circuit breaker in the event of current overload, thereby serving as overload protection. By simulating and analyzing the bimetallic heat distribution in small circuit breakers, the stability of circuit breaker thermal tripping can be pre-determined. Therefore, studying the bimetallic heat distribution analysis has important practical application value and development prospects. This article conducts theoretical research on the experimental simulation of the thermal bending characteristics of bimetallic sheets in small circuit breakers for reference.
