Application of PD Real-Time Monitoring Technology Based on Pulse Current Method in Distribution Network
Partial discharge(PD)is a typical characteristic of switchgear failure before complete breakdown,so PD monitoring can effec-tively avoid accidents. In order to overcome the weaknesses of offline measurement requiring power outage and traditional online monitoring scheme being susceptible to interference or unable to obtain direct access to the local discharge values,a new scheme based on the Internet of Things(IoT)technology is designed to realize real-time wireless monitoring and diagnosis of partial discharge. It utilizes the existing charged display device of the switchgear to form a pulse current method measurement loop in line with the GB/T 7354-2018 standard, and the collected data is calibrated and sent to the cloud system through wireless communication.Tests have verified that the scheme has good performance in partial discharge measurements and defect-type identification, and is now applied to a commissioned distribution substation with high engineering value.
