Live working,a method to maintain and test high-voltage electrical equipment without power outage,is effec-tive in avoiding maintenance-induced power interruption and ensure normal electric supply.Among them,live ignition is performed by connecting live branch line leads,while one-handed fixation is a method of connecting live branch line leads.In order to reduce personal safety risks of live line operations on 10 kV lines and shorten time consumption for live line ig-nition,it is necessary to develop and design an auxiliary production tool,i.e.,line lead fixer for live ignition,to liberate personnel and effectively improve the level of live line operations in distribution networks.
