This paper reports a case of gas leakage accident encountered by an actual circuit breaker.It describes the ex-amination process of the circuit breaker including on-site power failure inspection,pressure change statistics,disintegra-tion detection,return-to-manufacturer test,and laboratory test of related components,through which it has been found many cracks in the porcelain bushing part.It finally analyzes the cause of the circuit breaker gas leakage.
