Study on Structural Parameters and Energy Efficiency of Armor-grip Suspension
Armor-grip suspensions are used to suspend transmission cables,and their structural parameters directly affect line loss.In this paper,simulation analysis on the established electric-magnetic coupling model between transmission cable and armor-grip suspension is carried out.It is found that though there is power loss on armor-grip suspension,this sus-pension reduces overall line loss and is energy-saving.The values of electric energy saved by armor-grip suspensions with different wire spacing,wire length,armor length and armor thickness were calculated through simulation model,and the numerical relationship was obtained,which may be useful for type selection and installation of armor-grip suspensions in practical transmission projects.
