Analysis and Treatment of a Case of Heteropolarity Fault of Loop Network in DC System Encountered by an Actual Substation
This paper reports a case of covert fault of DC loop network heteropolarity encountered by an actual 500 kV substation.It describes the process of fault type search,the deduction of basic phenomena related to DC loop network het-eropolarity,and causal analysis and countermeasures proposal against failure in timely observation of the fault.The paper may have useful information for handling and preventing covert accidents in covert DC loop networks.
