Study on Short-Circuit Current Calculation Model for Distribution Networks Considering Distributed Power System Characteristics
In recent years, distribution networks have faced a continuous increase in diverse loads and rapid development of distributed sources, significantly impacting short-circuit currents.Particularly in the realm of distributed power sources, there is a gradual transition towards replacing traditional fossil fuels with clean energy sources. The growth of distributed power source integration has a substantial impact on safe and stable operation of distribution networks.Distribution network is evolving from a single-source network to a multi-source network, resulting in changes of normal and abnormal operating conditions which affect power flow distribution and necessitate careful consideration of the impact brought by distributed source injection. To address the varying requirements for photovoltaic system short-circuit current analysis, this study proposes a short-circuit current calculation model suitable for large-scale integration of distributed power sources into distribution network systems. While preserving the original low-frequency transient characteristics, main circuit and control algorithms have been simplified, and a transient equivalent model for distributed generation systems during short-circuit events has been proposed.
