A Software Counter for High-voltage Circuit Breakers in Substations
A software counter is designed to address the cumbersome issue of counting the number of trips of substation circuit breakers by operation and maintenance personnel. This counter retrieves the tripping records of each circuit breaker from the background monitoring machine's historical database,calculates and accumulates all tripping record of each circuit breaker in real-time,and mapps the accumulated values the real-time database telemetry table of the monitoring backend machine.Real time library updates the total number of trips for each high-voltage circuit breaker in real-time,af-terwards,it will be presented to the monitoring operation screen,scheduling end,and SVG system through screen edi-ting.Therefore the number of circuit breaker trips can be viewed in real-time on backend monitoring machines,dispatch stations,and office computers.
