Analysis and Treatment of a Damage of Hydro-generator Winding Busbar
Generator stator winding busbar is an important electrical component connected to stator coil. Damage of bus-bars can lead to generator failure and threaten safety of personnel and equipment. In this paper,the causes of sink insula-tion damage in an actual 500 kV generator stator winding is analyzed,and treatment and pre-control measures for the damage problem were proposed.The repaired busbar meets insulation tests and the analysis provides experience for solu-tion of similar busbar damage problems.
