Study on Modification Method of Hot Leg Weighted Average Temperature for VVER Unit
In view of the problem of large deviation in heat balance power calculation of the primary loop for VVER nucle-ar power unit,study on method of modifying hot leg average temperature was carried out based on three-dimensional nu-merical simulation of reactor components.The mass flow rate within specific temperature range is used as the weight co-efficient. The change of weight coefficients obtained from various operating conditions was analyzed.A simplified modified method of the hot leg weighted average temperature was proposed.Results indicate that the hot leg temperature calculat-ed by numerical simulation coincides well with that measured by thermal resistance under actual operating conditions of the unit. The proposed modified method is effective and reliable and can facilitate improvement in accuracy of hot leg aver-age temperature and reduction in calculation deviation of heat balance power of the primary loop.
