Development of a Fixture for Insulator String Replacement
In view of safety hazards and operational challenges in the process of replacing insulator strings in high-voltage transmission lines,this paper proposes a novel insulator string replacement tool.Through the analysis of traditional insu-lator string replacement processes,key issues are identified,and improvement solutions are proposed.Based on this,the paper designs and manufactures a structurally rational,operationally simple,and safely reliable tool for insulator string replacement,which is validated through practical applications.Experimental results indicate that the tool effectively ad-dresses safety hazards during insulator string replacement,improves replacement efficiency,and provides robust support for maintenance and operation of high-voltage transmission lines.
