Economic Benefit Analysis of Reversible Fuel Cell Based on Microgrid Energy Storage System
Energy storage system is an important section of microgrid.Integration of energy storage into microgrid can re-duce its operational cost, and setting up more economical energy storage system (ESS)is an important means to reduce power loss. This paper proposes a technical and economic model that uses a proton exchange membrane reversible fuel cell (PEM-RFC)to store excess electricity, and constructs a levelized cost of storage (LCOS)model to evaluate economics of the cell.It also conducts simulation analysis on the impact of LCOS from three aspects:storage cost, battery degradation, and system parameter variation.
