Study on Moment of Inertia Identification Method for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors
Permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM)have simple structure and superior performance,and are widely used in many fields.In the field of high-performance motor drives,such as servo control,it is necessary to accu-rately identify the moment of inertia.This study focused on analyzing influences of injected disturbance waveform and sampled random noise on the identification of moment of inertia using the identification method based on recursive least squares with forgetting factor.It carried out quantitative comparison on the identification utilities with three different typi-cal perturbation injection methods,i.e.,triangle wave injection,sine wave injection,and square wave injection,and found that better identification utility and faster convergence can be achieved by the square wave injection.It also performed sim-ulative verification on a 750 W/3000 r/min PMSM.
