More and more domestic coal/fuel power plants will carry out life extension or equal capacity replacement transformation with the time passing. This paper summarizes the characteristics of protection design in the implemented equal capacity replacement transformation projects of coal/fuel power plant,with a view to providing guidance and refer-ence for similar project design in the future.
