Conservation Voltage Reduction Method for Active Distribution Networks Considering the Integration of Distributed Sources
To solve the problem of insufficient power supply during peak periods of the power grid,a conservation voltage reductio method using active distribution networks considering the integration of distributed power sources is proposed in this study, aiming at voltage-reduced operation of active distribution networks, and minimization of total energy consumption with power supply maintained standard-qualified.First by adding on-load tap-changing transformers(OLTC)and capacitor bank switching(CB)and other regulating devices, the voltage-reduced operation of active distribution network is achieved. Then the ZIP load model is used for optimization. Finally an analysis on a 10 kV distribution network in a certain urban area is carried out for feasibility verification. The proposed method is confirmed by sufficient results capable of reducing total energy consumption and energy costs and improving the economy of power grid operation, while meeting the requirements of power supply quality.
