In the working environment of smart grids,predicting future loads is of positive significance for balancing sup-ply,optimizing grid work details,and supporting maintenance of equipment.There have emerged in the field of load pre-diction various models.This paper analyzes the two most basic models and determines their characteristics,which may be useful for the rational selection of predictive methods in engineering practice.
