Study on Dead Time Compensation Method for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Based on Quasi Resonant Filter
In inverters,to prevent simultaneous breakover of the up and down switch, dead time is added in turn-on time of the switch. This will cause PMSM to produce fifth and seventh current harmonics.Obviously,it is necessary to study how to suppress the harmonics.First, fifth and seventh harmonics caused by dead time are analyzed.Second the quasi res-onant filter(QRF)is used to extract the harmonic component of the current to compensate the dead-time and analyze the stability. Finally the effectiveness of the proposed method is studied on the MATLAB/Simulink platform.
