Design of Online Monitoring Device for Cable Partial Discharge Based on FPGA+ARM
Online monitoring of high frequency partial discharge is one of the most effective ways to prevent cable insula-tion failure. At present, there are a large number of domestic cables, and the workload of conventional inspection is huge.In this paper,an online cable partial discharge monitoring device based on FPGA+ARM core architecture is designed. The device adopts a non-contact installation mode with the cable body, which will not affect the normal operation of the cable. The device collects the cable high-frequency signal after preprocessing, which facilitates effective reduction in noise inter-ference of the signal.Through the modularized design,in which FPGA core board is responsible for high-speed data pro-cessing and ARM core board is responsible for coordinated scheduling and data sending and receiving, the device is en-dowed with inter-module independence and good portability, which are conducive to subsequent promotion and application.
