Study on Implementing"Wind-Solar Complementation"by Installing CIGS Flexible Photovoltaics on Wind Turbine Tower Wall
Wind-solar complementation has found wide applications in recent years because it can integrate the advantages of photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation,improve the reliability of power supply and the utilization ef-ficiency of resources,and improve the rationalization and intensive use of land.At present,the wind-solar complementary photovoltaic modules are mainly polycrystalline silicon modules.With the successful development of a series of flexible thin film components such as cadmium telluride and copper indium gallium selenide(CIGS),they have been widely used because of their good weak light effect,no attenuation,low cost and strong plasticity.This paper analyzes and studies the scheme of"wind-solar complementation"by installing CIGS flexible film components on the wall of wind turbine tower.
