Analysis and Determination of"Pseudo-opening"Risk of GIS Fast Grounding Switches
In the past two years of equipment operation and maintenance,a certain substation has encountered two major hidden dangers of"pseudo-opening"of the fast grounding switch of the ZF4-126 GIS equipment,i.e.,the maintained closed position of internal conductor when grounding switch mechanism and external transmission components are fully opened. This type of"pseudo-opening"is basically undetectable during daily operation and maintenance. This paper analyzes the causes of"pseudo-opening"of the grounding switch from three aspects:abnormal force on the conductive rod, design defects, and transmission form.Three methods, namely X-ray detection, insulation resistance testing, and grounding current measurement, are proposed to determine whether the ZF4-126 grounding switch is"pseudo-opened"in daily operations.
