Applicative Practice in Locating Single-phase Grounding Faults in Distribution Networks Utilizing Multi-source Information
In view of the difficulty in locating single-phase grounding sections in distribution networks, there has emerged an theoretically proposed idea of realizing fault location based on sudden changes in phase current and zero sequence current, whose effectiveness and utility were analyzed in the present work.By utilizing the sampling characteristics of different distribution automation terminals and integrating remote measurement of multiple devices, this work made an attempt aiming at precise location of single-phase grounding faults. In the applicative practice of the method, fault handling efficiency was effectively improved without adding monitoring devices, indicating its merits including principle simplicity, fast location speed, and high accuracy.
