Study on Distribution Networks Fault Location Technology Based on Fault Indicator+PMU Device Information
In order to meet the requirements of automation and intelligent distribution networks,a distribution network fault location method based on fault indicator and PMU device information is proposed.This method is based on the topol-ogy structure of the distribution network and the status of fault indicators,and can quickly,accurately,and reliably locate faulty line sections.The current flow direction and fault indicator status are considered to quickly determine the fault loca-tion.Then,within the faulty line section to be analyzed,combined with the topology structure of the section and the loca-tion information of the DG system,the equivalent Thevenin theorem principle of circuit theory is applied to reasonably e-quivalent the systems at both ends of the section to simplify the problem.According to the type of line section,the net-work sequence component model and impedance method are used to achieve precise fault location.The research results in-dicate that after secondary positioning correction,the location accuracy has been significantly improved,with an error rate of less than 10%.
