Analysis and Improvement of Water Quality Anomaly in the Primary Circuit Coolant Treatment System of a Nuclear Power Plant
The primary circuit coolant treatment system of units 3 and 4 of a nuclear power plant encountered abnormal water quality for several times during operation, resulting in the failure of the resin bed of the system and the forced stop of boric acid transfer, which affected safe production of the unit and increased the output of radioactive waste. After analy-zing the system and equipment, and finally through technical retrofit and equipment replacement, the water quality anom-aly of the system in the operation process was substantively eliminated.
