Study on Online Icing Monitoring for Transmission Lines Based on Inclination Angle and Wire Temperature
This paper first presents an integrated observation design mode for wire temperature and insulator string incli-nation angle.Second it uses wavelet transform algorithm to reduce the real-time collection error of wire vibration inclina-tion angle under high wind speed conditions during icing period.Finally combined with artificial ice observation data,the correlation between wire temperature,inclination angle,and ice observation data is studied,and its linear expression is es-tablished.The results show that after wavelet transform processing,the inclination error remains within the range of 0.035°;The inclination angle has a good linear relationship with wire temperature and ice thickness,with correlation coef-ficients of 0.9412 and 0.9187,respectively.The determined linear relationship expressions can be used to well calculate ice thickness according to variable data collected by sensors.
