Study on Overvoltage Measurer Based on Zinc Oxide Valve Plate
This paper studies an overvoltage measurer based on zinc oxide valve plates.It first outlines the basic principle of this measuring method,which is to select zinc oxide valve plates with the same nonlinear characteristics as zinc oxide lightning arresters and connect them in series below the lightning arrester.The overvoltage signal is collected from the pressure divider plate in a series voltage sharing manner.Second the voltammetric characteristic equation of the zinc oxide valve plate is polynomially fitted using MATLAB software,and a voltage divider simulation circuit is built to explore the variation law and influencing factors of the voltage divider ratio.Finally a zinc oxide valve plate voltage divider experiment is conducted under lightning overvoltage and switching overvoltage.The experimental results prove the effectiveness of the simulation and the feasibility of the technical route.
