Study on Trading Mechanism of Electricity Market Integrating Virtual Power Plant
The high penetration of new energy generation into power system gives rise to challenges such as peak shaving,frequency regulation,and grids'safe and stable operation.Virtual power plants exhibit robust grid flexibility adjustment capabilities by aggregating distributed flexible resources.The trading mechanism,however,is still in its early stages and inadequate in effectively harnessing the adjustment potential of virtual power plants.This paper studies the transaction path of virtual power plant participating in electricity market.First the definition,operational structure,and categorization of virtual power plants are explicated.Second the transaction policy of the virtual power plant has been summarized,and an analysis has been conducted on the obstacles in its transaction mechanism.Finally the trading access conditions and trading paths of virtual power plants in different stages and transaction varieties are studied.
