A New Method for Verifying Busbar Protective Tripping Circuits
This paper briefly describes the types of technical retrofit in which wiring and verification of busbar protection are mandatory procedures,discusses the new idea of realizing the coordination of wiring and verification of busbar protec-tion to facilitate integrity checking of the tripping circuit.The proposed method avoids frequent disconnection of the charged tripping circuit terminals in the step of busbar protection wiring,effectively reduces the risk of undesired trip of busbar protection,and helps ensure safe and stable operation of power grids.
