Realization of Polarity Inverse-immune RS-485 Communication Through Software Configuration-based Automatic Detection
The State Grid standard requires that electricity meter can communicate correctly regardless the RS-485 line is connected correctly or inversely.This work verified the feasibility of realizing polarity inverse-immune RS-485 communica-tion by automatic detection and adjustment of the polarity of RS-485 signals through software configurations.The pro-posed method does not require circuit and hardware modifications,and is cost-effective and stable.
