Taking frequent start/stop and peak shaving of 9 FA gas units as an example,this paper analyzes from technical and economic perspectives the feasibility of providing external centralized heating through system retrofit of pure conden-sing generator 9 FA combined cycle units.The steam extraction cost is calculated,which has a certain reference value for potential heating opportunities of similar pure condensing generator units.
