Study on Diffusion Characteristics of SF6 Decomposition Products under Partial Discharge in Gas Insulated Switchgears
The diffusion process of decomposition products generated by partial discharge in the chamber of gas insulated switchgear(GIS)can affect their concentration distribution,thereby affecting the accuracy of fault diagnosis.In order to study the diffusion characteristics of SF6 decomposition products under partial discharge,the SF6 decomposition product detection system is established,and the diffusion rules of decomposition products include CO2,CF4,and C2 F6 with dis-charge time and defect location are obtained.Moreover,the three-dimensional mass transfer model of the gas chamber is constructed,and the diffusion characteristics of decomposition products under the influence of defect location are com-pared.The results show that the defect location affects the spatial distribution of decomposition products content.When organic insulation materials participate in discharge,the CF4 content increases with the increase of discharge time,and CF4 can be used as the judgment basis for surface discharge in GIS.The C2 F6 content increases with the increase of dis-charge time and decreases with the increase of diffusion distance,and the amount produced is large.C2 F6 can be used as the judgment basis for partial discharge in GIS.
