Case Practice of Improving Closing Bounce of 10 kV Ring Main Unit Circuit Breaker
With respect to a vacuum circuit breaker in an actual 10 kV ring main unit,this essay mainly reports the case practice of improving its bounce during closure process through modifying the transmission principle and reducing the mo-tion quality of the interrupter moving-end components.It also outlines numerical and Monte Carlo simulative analysis of the idea which theoretically verifies its effectiveness.The presented information may be useful in future practice of circuit breaker design of ring main units.
