Applicative Study of Transmission Tower with Transition Legs in 1000 kV UHV AC Transmission Line Project
The root size and bearing force of heavy towers for UHV transmission lines are larger than towers in common lines.In order to meet the requirements of steep terrain above 40°for UHV transmission lines in mountainous areas,transmission towers with transition legs are recommended.Based on the background of actual engineering design,Midas Gen is used to calculate and analyze the natural vibration characteristics,internal force and displacement.Compared with SmartTower design software,the analysis results can verify the rationality of the design method,and provide suggestions for the design of the UHV AC projects.
