Study on Corrosion Life Prediction of Artificial Earthing Electrodes Subjected to Lightning Current
This work mainly focused on determining the changes in corrosion life of artificial earthing electrodes subjected to lightning current under the same soil condition.Based on the corrosion test with artificial impact current,a calculation model utilizing estimated count of lightning strikes per year was introduced.Then a formula for calculating the multi-year cumulative corrosion depth was established,thereby achieving corrosion life estimation of artificial earthing electrodes.
