Analysis on Insulation Degradation and Conceiving of Treatment Measures of Heat-shrinkable High-voltage Cable Terminals
Power cables are of great importance to urban distribution networks and reliable electric supply.Cable terminals are the weakest part in cable system,and will affect normal supply and may cause further accidents when encountering faults.This essay focuses on the heat-shrinkable high-voltage cable terminals,outlines their structural features,and ana-lyzes the electric field distribution and the main fault causes.It also conceives preliminarily fault countermeasures from the perspectives of both maintenance and prevention through a typical case of insulation failure fault.
