Relay Protection Alteration Scheme for Retrofiting Smart Substation with Dual-bus Uni-subsection Connection
When altering the main connection mode of a smart substation,it is necessary to modify and test the configura-tion of relevant equipment.This paper reports a case of retrofit project consisting of main wiring mode alteration and inter-val expansion,which was carried out for an actual 220 kV smart substation.It briefly analyzes the impact of the retrofit,the shakedown test demands,and the actual on-site situation.Then it proposes the corresponding construction scheme,secondary safety measures,and relay shakedown test plan.The paper may contain useful information for similar retrofit projects in the future.
